Michael Southard is a queer writer based in Boston. His short fiction has been published in the Hopkins Review and the Michigan Quarterly Review, and his essays have been published in Bright Lights Film Journal, PopMatters, and The Millions. He is the recipient of grants and scholarships from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and The Shipman Agency. He holds a BA in History from Colby College and works as an administrative assistant at Harvard Business School. He is represented by Daniel Kirschen, ICM Partners.
